Cannes 2012 first two days

We are in Cannes to attend the DPA gift suite! It's the same suite we did in LA in january. We are so excited about the huge guest list and all the stars that are in town. The event is at The Carlton Hotel and thats where it all happens. This is the entrance of our hotel. LOL!

Kirsti posing inside the entrance. We are staying here for 5 days meeting the stars and chatting with them. Today Isla Fisher stopped by, and also Peter  Ramsey, director of 'Rise of the Guardians' with his swedish lovely wife and, some other people. We are looking forward to all the exciting people we are going to meet through this event.

And it went on and on...

Then time for lunch and the first coupe of champagne

And, off course some fois gras

and some sorbet de cassis

After a good nap we went window shopping. This is a doorhandle!

Window of Victor & Rolf

We went for oysters with Kirstis friend from high school, Karsten and his crew of film nerds. We had a good time with seafood and wine.

I got to try different oysters and came to the fact that I liked the Irish oysters the best. They were smaller than the french and exactly a mouthful for me. Yummi!!

Also kobbunge as we say in Stavanger. Yummi again!!

The mosquitos were out. Kirsti just smashed one as quick as Bruce Lee would have. I was amazed by her skills.

All over town you find this poster of Marilyn. I love it and wanna take it home. I have to find one.

Walking home after a long night I wanted to capure the palmtrees and keep the image in my frozen Norwegian heart through the rest of the year.

Today morning we were up by dawn to go to work. This is a glimps of our stand.

We made a lot of dresses before we left for Cannes

The Dictator is back! We spotted the camel in an alley.

Finished work for the day. As the stars were leaving to see the opening film we desided to go for dinner and straight to bed. It's insane how exhausted you get working like this.

The paparazzis were all over the place:)

The last stop on our way home was at this lovely chair. We understood that it was dead cause we didn't dare sit in it. See the sad look of Kirsti:(

Tomorrow is a new day with new stars!!
